Spread love .... its the Brooklyn way

The start of Spring – love is in the air and an engagement may have taken place in your life or a loved one's. The question was asked, you said yes… now the craziness planning begins! The punch line is you have 4 weeks to get everything going!!! How crazy is this, right?

This was our story here at Dream Catcher where our bride to be only gave us a 1 month notice until the knot was tied. From venue to food tasting to live band we made it happen all for the couple's special day. Where do we even start? Ah, yes! At the venue.

The place of choice was a chic, intimate place in Brooklyn by the name of Caoba. A pioneer in New York’ City’s vibrant and growing scene of authentic local eateries with a Dominican heritage. Their mouth-watering menu consists of traditional Dominican cuisine served with warm hospitality. This gem sits right in your backyard on the eastern edge of Brooklyn. A neighborhood that’s rich in its own history with homes where farms once stood and its many parks. We chose this place based on the number of guests and the intimate space the groom and bride wanted to share with their invitees.

With a custom menu tailored to all sizes and prices we knew this was the right fit for the couples first gathering as husband and wife. After deliberation and looking through different styles the bride chose a "rustic wedding". I have to say it was an excellent choice.

The style is a classic rustic chic touch between fresh garden greens, roses handpicked from Ecuador and Colombia with a splash of rose gold and white candle lit lantern accents. Such, beautifully lit up each table with small candle lanterns for an outdoorsy feeling.

Custom menus featuring the bride and grooms last name and cuisine of choice adorned the ravishing, elegant charger plates.

Nothing couldn't be done without the touch of the wedding cake. Topped with crystal like lettering, the wedding cake made its own debut. Rightfully placed under a neon sign that read "Spread Love Is The Brooklyn Way" was the nights center of attraction for all photos.
