There comes a time in every woman's life where the little girl we have inside comes out to play. As a seed we bloom from greatness and positive energy brought to us by life, amazing friends, sugar and spice and everything nice. Yet as such we can also wither when surrounded by the wrong company or even negative energy collected as we attempt to bloom. That WAS NOT the case for our birthday cat lady Tatiana.
As this small gathering for her __?__ birthday (ssshhh you never ask a lady what her age is) took place - we shared a great time full of laughter, cake and mimosas.
This was a small get together between good ole amigos and drinks. Taking place in one of upper Manhattan's (Inwood) most wanted places named Made in Mexico. I will have to say that the service was quick fast and easy, but the wait time not so much. If you decide to visit make sure you have reservations and be prompt otherwise you won't be able to sit and will have to wait.
Some of their delicious brunch menu options (which was the meal time chosen) include , carne asada, fried calamari and even eggplant parmigiana for our vegetarian audience. The quick and simple decor for this intimate gathering was Pretty In Pink style, with large confetti balloons and gold accent candle lit votives. Of course our cake was Hello Kitty; Tatiana's favorite cartoon deliciously made by Cakes by Mery. Appetizing Dominican style cake that just melts in your mouth as you savor all the flavors followed with a toast of mouthwatering bellinis and Jack Punch.
